Newtown PA-Dawn Boothe, DVM, PhD, has been appointed Editor-in-Chief
of The International Journal of Applied Research in Veterinary Medicine. JARVM, which
will debut in November 2002, is a Rapid Publication, Peer Review journal. Multidisciplinary
in scope, the journal will consider submissions from every legitimate area of
veterinary medicine. It will especially focus on clinical trials, comparative
product studies, outcomes research, and pharmacology and pharmacokinetics. International
in its scope, JARVM guarantees:
· Review of all submitted manuscripts within 10 business days

Dr Boothe is currently Associate Professor, Department of Veterinary Physiology & Pharmacology, College of Veterinary Medicine, Texas A&M University, and is a Member, Faculty of Toxicology; Director, Clinical Pharmacology and Analytical Laboratory; and Attending Clinician, Veterinary Teaching Hospital, Texas Veterinary Medical Center. Dr Boothe has been widely published in her areas of expertise and is a member of numerous Editorial Boards, including Veterinary Medicine, Compendium of Continuing Education, and American Journal of Veterinary Research.
