As of April 2022, the International Journal of Applied Research in Veterinary Medicine will cease publication and is no longer accepting new papers
Papers submitted for consideration for publication in The International Journal of Applied Research in Veterinary Medicine will be reviewed
by at least two expert members of the Editorial Review Board with appropriate
credentials and expertise in the specific topic covered. To qualify
for publication, reports must reflect proper research protocols, including
valid control groups an externally relevant population, clinically appropriate
diagnostic and treatment regimens, random diagnostic/treatment assignment,
blinded assessment, an externally relevant practice or field setting,
adequate follow-up, adequate statistical merit to detect treatment effects,
controls for complicating variables, measurement of clinically relevant
outcomes to discover important differences, and appropriate statistical
analysis to determine significance.
The Journal invites submission of clinical and laboratory research manuscripts in all areas of veterinary medicine, including pathophysiology, diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis. Manuscripts must be previously unpublished and cannot be simultaneously under consideration with another publisher. The publisher will require the authors to sign a document warranting that the material does not violate any copyright or other intellectual rights and assigning the copyright to The International Journal of Applied Research in Veterinary Medicine. All manuscripts will be subject to editing before they are published.
IJARVM is indexed with and included in Thomson Reuters (Web of Science), Current Contents, CAB International, CAB Abstracts, CAB Health, EBSCO, Ulrich’s , Index Copernicus International, International Institute of Organized Research (I2OR), and Gale.
